However the name is also applied to the area surrounding the village, particularly the Torridon Hills, mountains to the north of Glen Torridon. It lies on the shore of Loch Torridon.It holds the annual CELTMAN! there are 17 munros in this area.<\/p>\r\n                <\/div>\r\n            <\/div>\r\n    <\/div>\r\n<\/div><div id=\"sktbuilder-block-gallery-zoom-block-43\" class=\"sktbuilder-block sktbuilder-block-gallery-zoom\">\r\n      <div class=\"qb-container\">\r\n          <div class=\"sktbuilder-header\">\r\n                    <h2 class=\"sktbuilder-header__title  sktbuilder-header__title_color_black\">Bidein a&#x27; Choire Sheasgaich and Lurg Mh\u00f2r<\/h2>\r\n                    <div class=\"sktbuilder-header__description sktbuilder-header__description_color_black\">\r\n                       <p><span style=\"color: rgb(51, 51, 51);\">A long but good approach track leads to Bendronaig Lodge - route is very rough and pathless. A serious expedition, far from help, requiring experience of wild country. A challenging expedition to climb two of the remotest Munros. The fine, pointed summit of Bidein a'Choire Sheasgaich would be more celebrated were it not hidden deep in the wilds of Monar, whilst neighbouring Lurg Mh\u00f2r is even more inaccessible. The walk can be broken up by an overnight stay in the bothy or wild camping.<\/span><\/p>\r\n                    <\/div>\r\n           <\/div>\r\n      <\/div>\r\n              <div sktbuilder-header__description_color_black\">\r\n                       <p><span style=\"color: rgb(77, 81, 86);\">Fionn Bheinn is a mountain located south of Loch Fannich in the northwestern Scottish Highlands. It has a height of 933 m and is listed as a Munro. The south side of the mountain is a shallow, smooth grassy slope, but its north face is steeper and is considered more impressive.<\/span><\/p>\r\n                    <\/div>\r\n           <\/div>\r\n mountain in Lochaber in the Northwest Highlands of Scotland. It is on the southern side of Loch Quoich, with Glen Garry to the east and Glen Kingie to the south, 25 kilometres north-northwest of Fort William. throughout. There is mild rock scrambling en-route to the ridge, and some awkward bouldery terrain along it. The Am Fasarinen pinnacles involve some trickier scrambling, and the alternative bypass path is very exposed. The descent from Mullach an Rathain is also very steep. If unsure, hire a guide. Liathach is rated by many mountaineers and hillwalkers as Scotland's finest mountain, challenged only by An Teallach and the Cuillin of Skye. form of a long ridge sprinkled with white quartzite screes. It gives a fine, steep hillwalk of much character. Excellent stalkers' paths on the approach walk; higher up the mountain has steep boulders and heather, whilst the ridge is on quartzite scree. class=\"sktbuilder-header__description sktbuilder-header__description_color_black\">\r\n                       <p><span style=\"color: rgb(51, 51, 51);\">Maol Chean-dearg, named bald red head on account of its red sandstone boulder summit and lower band of white quartzite, is a popular Munro. The ascent involves a pleasant walk in along the Fionn abhainn with good views of the prow of Meall nan Ceapairean on the way. The section of scree is steep but short and the route above this presents no difficulties.
